Harvard University, America’s oldest and most prestigious university, is also one of the best universities in the country, the largest university by area and equipment, and one of eight universities in the Ivy League. It is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. It was established by John Harvard, a Protestant priest, in 1636 to correspond with the universities of Oxford and Cambridge in Britain. [4] . It ranks fifth on the list of most difficult universities to admit students.

American Harvard University was ranked first among the top 100 universities worldwide, ahead of other universities, such as the British Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. The list was published in a supplement of the British Times newspaper dedicated to education. The Higher Teachers Institute INS, a French university, was included in this first class. It was ranked 18th. American universities dominated the ranking, with 33 universities placing ahead of Australia (15), Britain (7), and The Netherlands (7). Five universities from France, France, and Switzerland were also listed in the rankings. In addition, the classification included three universities from Hong Kong and Canada and one from Germany. This was after a request to 3703 university professors worldwide to compile a list of the 30 best universities in their respective fields.
